Hi, my first track for this year is this. Some synth electro breaks with a modern sound, but old school flavour. I had some fun with the vocoder and the synths.
Hope it bangs well for you, enjoy!

OMG!! This is amazing Heikks! love that synth line, this is incredibly good and I like how all these electronic elements collide together, great start for the new year, your music keeps getting better and better all the time, pro production as always from you, love the synth breakdown at the end, wow, well done!! Cool tune, fun and energetic with cool vocal effects. Dig the key solo near the end, lots of cool key sound and melodies from start to finish. Supah!

Vocoders are fun but whether hardware or DAW based they're always a little twitchy to set up. I used to have fun using them with a guitar and drum machine, so the drum beat turned sustained guitar chords into something rhythmic.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, the vocoder I used is this (released a year ago by Reason Studios). It's really powerful and has lots n lots tweakable
parameters. If you run out of built in Synth-Oscillators, you can bring in any VST or Rack Extension synth too, so it has endless possibilities to get new sounding endresults. :o

That looks really cool, I like the programmable 'output mix' options between mod, carr and voc, looks a powerful plugin there Heikks! :)

I have a vocoder in Logic and have never messed with it. I'll have to give it a try sometime. I just picked up a Shure MV5 that I can connect directly to my computer without an interface. I'm with Bill, really liking that synth solo. All your sounds have a "signature" resonance now that I associate with your style. Well done!

Thanks Henry, yeah, well, I don't know, I use my own custom effect for my stuff, which gives it it's own sound. Anyway, vocoders are fun, you should try it out!
