Hi everyone! I'm trying to get playback audio from Reason to play for other people in a Zoom call. This sounds pretty simple but I'm struggling to get it to work. I'm pretty sure the issue is with Reason and not Zoom, as I have tested it and found that system sounds/sounds from other apps are playing back properly when I'm sharing my "computer audio" with Zoom.
I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 as my audio interface and I've tried various tricks with the loopback channel to get the Reason playback audio to flow into Zoom, but no luck there either. Currently Zoom is set to the loopback channel for the "microphone" - again, this plays system sounds and other app sounds with no issues, but nothing from Reason. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Re: Sharing Reason Audio via Zoom
Hi, welcome to the forums!
I don't know anything about the Zoom so I don't know stuff for sure. All I know is what I've experienced, when I've tried to do something silmilar.
I think when using ASIO - you can't get it to be sent to the system sound and when using MME or DX, you can, but then there's lots of latency involved.
I'm planning to resolve this too, because I want to record videos with the screen capture softwrare, while using Reason. I'm planning to buy another audio interface - --> all it needs is having 2 line ins. I then can send my Reason's audio to the second audio interface's ' line ins ' and use that interface for the system sounds.
Using 2 audio interface like this works, as this method was confirmed by the Steinberg on their forums. Actually this method is the bestest solution for the stuff like this. And the second audio interface can be bought for 80$ so it wouldn't be a big investment.
The routing like this basically is:
Reason ASIO --> Audio Out of your 1st interface --> Line Ins of your second interface --> Audio Out to your Speakers.
I hope you understand my method as it's actually a very simple method.
