I’m getting a few drinks at work… then maybe home to setup something.
I was meant to go to a friends studio tonight but she bailed on me!

Space is the killer. Several amps and things didn't make it to the new place, consolidating sucks when your personality wants one of EVERYTHINGLasagna Pirate wrote: Mon Oct 18, 2021 7:44 am Yeah. I have no space for any of this.
I want to have all my Arturia/Modular stuff together, but it would take up all my desk real estate. I have lots of ‘storage/holding space but the ‘workspace’ is limited. But now that my flat mate has moved out (mostly… he’s left some stuff behind) I could have multiple ‘workspaces’!

Is that a medical thing? Seeing the doc tomorrow, I'll ask.Mr. Marty wrote: Mon Oct 18, 2021 11:46 pm I'm curious. Do you have issues with physical resonance like a turntable on a too weak base?

Sometimes a turntable picks up a rumble if it is on a shelf that vibrates with the music. Do these things pick up these vibrations.

Re: Nasty bass thing
Ah, makes more sense now, should have made sense yesterday. Of all the stuff I have in there, only one has an internal mic, but I made a bad connection on the jumpers on the back and fried it slightly - I can still use it as a mic input but the native mic is fried. Thus, nothing that picks up noise in the system unless I want it to. However, comma, there are one or two items in there that are inherently noisy and liable to pick up radio interference if not careful, but none are a factor unless patched into the audio chain. Anyway, rumbles aren't a problem in getting in, more the reverse in that if not careful these things can put out a riduculous quantity of sub-bass since it's more math than anything acoustic.Mr. Marty wrote: Tue Oct 19, 2021 4:54 amum no.DollarBill wrote: Tue Oct 19, 2021 1:25 amIs that a medical thing? And now that I think about it, I know I've seen a box for audio experimentation that (among other things) amplifies electro-interference for use as a sound source in modular.
