Just a minute(ish) of fun recorded live from the modular rig.
A minute of dark grime noise.

Thanks! Currently attmepting to recycle this patch into a more structured song, muting things and tweaking so I can track each part one at a time and eventually add something else, maybe guitar or who knows.

You didn't torture a plant for this one?
That's pretty catchy actually. I see you say you are going to build on it. I'm interested in seeing what comes.
How long does it take to program in the parts playing through the different modules?

Re: A minute of dark grime noise.
Programming depends - sometimes it's lots of chance/random and you're just seting the min/max and maybe skewing the voltage outcomes toward one end of the range or the other, other times it's input similar to a DAW sequencer (though in my case the one powerful sequencer I have that can do that is a beast I'm ignoring as I need to RTFM and spend a good 20 hours learning). It's less about control for me than lots of happy accidents - I might have a general idea and a sort of plan, but what comes out has a lot more surprises to it thatn when I'm working with VSTis in a DAW.Trobador222 wrote: Sun Jan 08, 2023 3:10 am You didn't torture a plant for this one?

As for building on it, I'm trying, tracking the elements separately for refined EQ/compression control, but it's coming out rather different and I'm not sure I like it so far.
