I purchased this today my Arturia Keylab61 Essential with LabV software. 20 synths and about 5000 sounds / presets.
The keyboard cost me $459 au and the software I got with it was worth $200. I got this to make some dance music, me trying something different.

Thought so too, that's what I do too, my sounds are inside Reason and I control them with my midi keyboard. I actually nowdays almost always play the notes with my midi-keyboard - record them and do small fixes with my mouse.

Yeah I do the same, I try out sounds with the mouse, play on the keyboard and then do fine adjustments with the mouse. I've started making my new song today - so exciting!! hehe, I'll keep you updated.

Nice! Arturia makes some good stuff. I've just got the little mini key controller and their plate reverb VST, but both work well, would work better if I ever read the manual I expect.

Ive been looking at another Yamaha keyboard. I prolly should learn the one (two actually) that I already have.
