Are YOU wombat-aware?

Post by Citizen Dolly »

So, just for fun I started a new track last night and after seeing some random nonsense about wombat awareness inserted on my timeline this morning on FB, was inspired to launch into a new EP: this is the first track:

The Wombat Awareness League - Critters Rule OK!

Enjoy....

Love the track, but it sounds like it’s made by someone that’s never fucked a wombat.

Is wombat slang for vagina ?
It should be. Makes more sense than pussy.
Have you ever smelled a wombat?
I rest my case.

Trippy breaks. Loads of nice synth elements that delivered very well.
The strings melody was nice too. But why would the wombats inspire you to make music, haha?

It just made me laugh: wombat is one of those inherently funny words I suppose. Next thing I knew I had a cover for it, and so felt more or less obliged to do some music to go with it. :lol2:

Cheers man! ;-) 8-)

Yeah, from what I understand, they're one of the few Australian animals that probably won't try to kill you. I have heard they might pull a knife on you, though just for a joke. :P

Thankses Ash n Ive!

I generally do screen capture vids of my stuff cos I'm too lazy to make actual proper music videos. And besides, in this case, wombats are hard to get hold of in NE England. :-)

Fuck wombats.

That software looks very much like the Motu audio interface.
I may have to try that screen capture bit.

Nice tune. Excellent percussion as always.
