The drums are Logics Drummer. Its sample based, but you can control a lot of the things they do. You start out picking a style, with the name of a drummer and modify it to what you want, with the controls on a graphic read out. It's an amazing tool. You can even get it to match elements of your composition with the controls, in a simple way.
This was a bitch to mix, even though it's simple. That bass wanted to overwhelm everything. I had to bring it way down and EQ the hell out of it. Then I brought it back out with a compression on the whole track at the end. Logic has some specialized stereo filed enhancers too, which helped.
