My problem is that I never had time before to study R8 properly and get skilled, just bits here and there and very patchy skills. I had a ring bound User manual cost £90 which helped some but very hard work. So does anyone know of a reputable professional quality Video tutorial I can start again as a beginner cos its all changed, Last thing I want are these wannabee Youtube hop heads far out outa sight just parading themselves no proper training value - total waste of time mostly - know the type?
Ive got the official 12.7 User manual - is 1470 pages. I would pay for a pro tutorial version explained by an proper educator
Any tips guys to get re restarted?
I originally started with R6. It was hard going messing with patch leads etc Trouble often was the frustration trying to make it work caused my musical muse to evaporate and I lost my mojo. Please help

Hi, Reason Studios own youtube channel covers most of the main features: https://www.youtube.com/@ReasonStudios

Also the ex Prop James Bernard videos are good too:

It depends on that what kind of things you want to learn about really.

Yes those vids are more like promos than education use. Dudes in your face look at me how clever I am but skate thru stuff leaving you in the dust not knowing how an effect was done. I wanted to do editing on audio channels - what a mess - hard work to find all the hidden ways to do simple tasks. Poor dated approach to busy with bells and whistles. I moved over to Reaper so much simpler for my work. I probably wont return. R12 is so far down the charts, new entrants wouldnt go there only cos I started with R6 that I tried but have wasted way too much time climbing up a very steep learning curve. Bye Bye Reasons
