I love my time zone, Friday always comes early then again my weekend feels shorter. Saturday for me today yay .. time for more drinkies.

I’m in different time zones everyday! I’m funny about when I am up. When I work, I like to get up at 3 or 4 AM. It’s a great time to drive and when I am done at the end of my day, it’s easy to find parking in the truck stops.

When I am home, I revert right back to being a night owl.

If the place I have to drop off at is open this morning, it’s drinkies tonight! I don’t drink on the road.

In the US, if you hold a commercial license, there is a different threshold of blood alcohol level that is illegal. For anyone with a regular license it’s usually .08 parts per whatever. It varies a bit by state. For CDL holders the threshold is .04. And it’s a federal law. One drink would literally put me in violation.

Fun fact, most truckers get arrested the next day after drinking. They deal with an officer at a weigh station and they smell the alcohol on them and breathalyze them. The residual levels from the night before get them. And just like that, their career is over.

Do you use a CB radio?

I have a CB, but I only use it when there is a road blockage or to ask about road conditions ahead sometimes. Mostly I keep it off. If you think trolls are bad online, they are worse on the CB.
