Got this baby as I already am familiar with the Onyx mic preamps.
Solid look - only Win 10 and up compatible.
I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 because of this audio interface.

Have fun with that one. Never heard about Onyx but if you like the pre's go for it.
You know that this is the first step into live work which leads to analogue?

It cost me 108€ - for that price it's not a bargain. Well Onyx pres sound good for my voice.
Going analogue after all these years? Dunno, would there be any big enough point to it?

Prolly not. I just like the warmth of tape. Just have to learn to deal with tape hiss. Tape does have a smoothing affect on the voice, much like a vintage tube or ribbon mic designed for voice. They are now very expensive out of most folks reach. They should never be used for acoustics. JMaHO

Well I use Tape plugins, - as example I use Scream4 in Reason for mastering.
It's a great way to compress stuff down and add some warmth. Sure it may not be the bestest Tape plugin,
but as Reason supports VST nowdays I could get some kind of an alternative now.

That looks like some sweet gear right there, I love the black look of it, looks very cool, I use a focusrite solo gen 3.
