Mt Rainier
Took this with my Sony a6000. To get the mountain with the bright sunlight, I had to under expose the shot, then bring out the foreground in post. I picked up a manual 24mm lens and used it for this shot.

Re: Mt Rainier
Yo, some really dope photos there. The clouds appear really bottom in there - something you don't see here in Finland.
I edited and cleaned your link - you only need your album link as this forum software supports the flickr links and automatically shows up in here.

Re: Mt Rainier
How long ago was this and from which side? Some time this summer, most of the snow & glaciers melted for the first time in my life.

Re: Mt Rainier
That was Sept 20 from the road, just short of the parking lot at Sunrise. It snowed up there during that two days of rain. I deleted it but I had a screen shot of my radar app that showed Rainiers location as a circle of blue in all the green of the rain in the radar. I had talked to a Ranger that morning over at Paradise and he told me there had been snow there at the Sunrise buildings but by the time we got up there it had melted.
I had not seen Rainier since the hot days but I had seen Hood a couple of times and I had never seen Hood with no snow before. It looks wrong.
