Re: New setup, same stuff.

I am with you on the "clutter at your whim." I have gear all over my front room. The spare bedroom had guitars on the bed. The computer is right here next to my recliner with the monitor on a swivel neck. Got my 4 most played guitars on stands within 10 feet.....and crap everywhere. Glad to see you ...

Mad Scientist! I'd like to see a video of you working on this. NIce production. I am curious how this would sound without the driving beat.

Re: Not Acoustic Guitar...older song At Peace

Thanks Hekki. It is the midi I have issues with. I cannot handle the recording of events then applying sounds. The mixing and mastering I have no issues with. I plugged the midi keyboard into the computer and it sees it. But I get confused when trying to record notes. Then the application of sound i...

Not Acoustic Guitar...older song At Peace

Here is a song I did back in 2013. I pub'd it in 2014 and posted it as a track on the White on Grey album. It is not guitar, acoustic or otherwise. It was recorded live on a Roland G7 keyboard using the built in pads. That said, it was still mixed and mastered as a wave, not midi. Still don't unders...

Re: Heavy Metal guy!

AutoDesk has been around for a long time. It used to be called AutoCAD. I used it extensively back in the late 1980s. It was more of a architect package. I used it as a 2D map data development software in a vector based editor. About the time I stopped working with it they came out with the 3D engin...

Re: Hurricane Ian

Ah, inland waterways, gotit. I heard of some community that got nearly no damage. It is an engineered community with nearly 100% solar power. The panels apparently were designed to withstand the winds. None of the homes were damaged either. The flooding was minimal due to roadway design and wetlands...

Nice work Hekki. I would like a version of this without the beat. Could be a nice play along tune.

Re: Hurricane Ian

Well I posted twice and it’s not going through. My house is alright. A lot of my trees are gone and my fence is pretty beat up from trees falling on it. We were lucky. 3 miles from us was a community called Matlacha that was on the inside pass and it was destroyed. I know about losing trees. I lost...

Re: [R'n'B] "Reset" - Reflexion X

Interesting. It is nice to listen to something that has a bass drum line that is something other than every beat or off beat. I like the heart beat of it. Very clear and neat. The ending fade is really cool. Nice work. Btw, Excellent drum set.

Re: love the look!

I see Reverb is selling Cervantes guitars. Sadly, they are the lower priced ones (though expensive when compared to a normal guitar). The guitar I have been playing lately is also A Cervantes but it is a signature series. It is a really nice guitar as classical guitars go. Reverb does not carry thes...

Re: love the look!

I see Reverb at the bottom for advertiing. Do you get paid for that? I hope so. Reverb is a really expensive place to buy a guitar. If people click on them, then I earn a bit. I didn't want to add more than one ad onto the bottom, and also because they add some value to the site a bit. I sometimes ...

Re: Another analogue composition

Your "sedatives" have the opposite effect on me - perks up my ears. Really like the interplay between guitars, your natural play style always finds interweaving lines that my typically "composed" harmonization would never encounter. Inspiring as always, Marty! Thanks man. I always try to mix harmon...

Re: Another analogue composition

Heya Marty! That was a nice musical piece, that made me chilled and all. Listening to it on the Bandcamp and staring the colors and the songpic was a cool combination. Liked it! :thumbup2: Thanks Heikki. That is exactly how I intended the music to be played...as a backdrop to another pleasent task....
