Help With Sliders/Drawbars

Hello everyone,
I am using Reason 13.4d15 build 19,373, a Axiom 61 and IK Multimedia Hammond B3. The sliders/drawbars aren't moving the drawbars on the B3. I figure I have to assign them in Reason. I was looking around but can't figure out how to do that. Could someone help me with this?
Thank you.

Hi, I have never used this myself, but I tried it out with subtractor and my M-Audio Oxygen 61.

- keyb1.jpg (548.42 KiB) Viewed 63947 times
Under option press Remote Override Edit Mode.

- keyb2.jpg (605.42 KiB) Viewed 63947 times
Then right click on the desired device and a parameter of choice.

- keyb3.jpg (134.94 KiB) Viewed 63947 times
And then pick your midi keyboard like I did on the pic.
You then have to move your midi keyboard's knob or fader to assign it to the device's parameters.
I noticed also that in my case I need to have the "Auto" button put on. Not sure if your keyboard has it or not. Hope this helped. Btw, welcome to the forums!

Thanks Heigen5,
Your post helped. While looking at your post I saw the "Edit Remote" and noticed that in the "window'", or whatever you call it, for my Hammond B3 there is a "Remote" function at the top left corner. I clicked on it an now I can assign the controls on the Axiom 61. I can get the drawbars assigned to keys or the expression pedal but for some reason the sliders aren't working. I think it's a technical thing that I have to figure out. It's progress.

Ok, one step forward, but maybe you should contact the Reason Studios support if there's something still you need help for:
https://www.reasonstudios.com/contact
You should provide them as detailed description as possible, cheers!
PS. I think VSTs generally have to be mapped by the users because VSTs are 3rd party instruments/effects, so that's why there's no ready to use mappings.

Thanks again Heigen5,
I typed in Google "how to map a vst in Reason 13" and I got the answer that I figured out last night about having to open the vst in Reason, say to use it, and click on the "Remote" button. That's how you map a control. I tried my Arturia Minilab MKII and was able to get the knobs mapped to control the drawbars. I am starting to think that the Axiom 61 might have issues. I bought it used about six months ago and this it the first time I have tried to use the sliders, to map them. I really like the keyboard but I might have to buy a separate slider controller for the drawbars.

This is how I mapped the controls.

I just got out my Studio Logic Numa Compact 2x and was able to map the sliders the same way. I will try the Axiom 61 again.

Well, that looks like money well spent. After trying everything I could think of to get the sliders on the Axiom 61 (A61) mapped in the Hammond B3 plugins I have in Reason 13, and not being able to, I decided to buy a slim-line USB controller for the sliders. It’s a small midi controller with sliders and rotary dials and push buttons for controlling things like the sliders of a B3 or controls on a synth or functions of a music recording and editing app.
I have the new controller set up with my favorite B3 plugin. When I first plugged it into to computer I already had the A61 turned on and when I went to try to set up the new sliders I didn’t get any signal in the B3 plugin. So I thought I was going to have to go through the process of trying to get both midi controllers, keyboard and sliders, set up in the B3.
So I was trying to set it up in a synth plugin and a built in instrument in Reason 13. I got it set up on some controllers but didn’t have the keyboard showing so I could play some notes. So just for the heck of it I left the new controller plugged in, on, and turned the keyboard off and back on. Then I tried t playing some notes and got sound. Then I tried a slider and it worked.
So I closed out of that instrument and tried the B3 again. It worked. Now I have all 9 sliders mapped to the new controller.
I saved the mapped sliders in a Reason document to see if I could keep the settings. I closed out of it and opened it again. The mapped slider settings were saved and working fine. So now I can play with the sliders to my hearts content.
The controller I bought was a Btuty Portable Mini USB 9 Slim-Line Control MIDI Controller,
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BPSDLGT?re ... asin_title. It says “WORLDE” on the controller, I guess that’s the name of this version.
