Do you guys get blisters when you play?71458C60-5F28-4386-9C47-07CC4E32FB7C.jpeg
Try using your hands.
Maybe those are his hands.
I know, Hekki.
I would suggest this.
If you are hitting the strings hard enough with the fleshy part of your thumb to rase blisters, try using your nails as picks.
Get a nail file and shave the sharp corner of that thumb nail. I have to shave mine to keep from snagging the string. With a bit of a longer nail and rounded edges you can get a strong strum or a really nice hammering tone. Just depends on what the song warrants. You can change the angle of the attack from where the nail is parallel all the way to to perpendicular to the stings. Changes tone and aggressiveness of the sound. I also keep the nails on my plucking hand a tad long also with the corners rounded. None of the nails are too long to keep from using just flesh for that muted tone. It is a matter of balance.

Those are my toes . (You’re welcome )
I play with my hands. Don’t ask me how .... but I play (with my hands) and I get blisters on my feet.
Is that not normal?
No one else has this happen to them?
