Paralytik's big thread of releases
Thought I'd make one post where I can post my stuff instead of making new threads all the time.
Here's an older track, house vibes.

Nice "jazzy" vibe - the style is kind of like a jazzy house to my ears. Lounge'ish too. Good groove. Thanks for sharing!
By the way, you can post separate threads for your songs too if you wanna to. We have plenty of room on the servers.

Re: Paralytik's big thread of releases
Thanks man.
I programmed the piano first, added shuffle, then resampled it and chopped it up. I've been trying out that kind of workflow a bit more lately. I'm really happy with the lead melody, I was thinking in the lines of chiptune melodies when I made it.
I find it more practical to have one thread for my stuff, then it's easy to get feedback and stuff focused in one place.

Thanks man! It was fun to make them. My Doepfer Dark Energy III apparently works really well for making chippy stuff.

Re: Paralytik's big thread of releases
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. Here's another older chiptune actually made in a tracker (I think it was MadTracker 2). All of the pitching, portamento vibrato stuff going on in the main main melody is manually programmed in hexadecimal. Same goes with the "delay" effect, it's actually manually placed notes using a lower volume.
This one is a newer project I'm going to work more with. I programmed a melodic pattern, then bounced it, pitched it down and chopped it up a bit. Oh, and I added drums. Got a pretty cool vibe going.

Yo Paralytik!
1bitMonoChrome - Keep in line: Nice work on this. The main-lead sounds fuckin sick LOL. Also liking the stoppers moments.
Shores Of Silver 03 WIP sketch: Nice bells n keys. The beat has a cool clap sound. I could imagine some female singing over this beat. This is work in progress I guess. Anyway, keep em coming bro!

Yeah, I'm definitely going to keep working on it. Got some projects I work on bit by bit. Here's another short loop of some wave stuff, tried to emulate that big verby reese sound that is used a lot in wave. Just slap some trap beat on there and BAM you call it a new genre, haha.

Sounds promising, I could rap on this kind of a beat - this kind of sounds like a potential trap/dubstep'ish beat, that needs some rap on it. I could collab with you on this if you like.Paralytik wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 7:28 pmYeah, I'm definitely going to keep working on it. Got some projects I work on bit by bit. Thanks man. That one might go to another rapper though, or just stay instrumental.

Re: Paralytik's big thread of releases
Well that's ok, I kind of can't be arsed nowdays anyway. But if we both get into it some day, then sure, why not collabing on something then.
