Just got LoopCloud - seems like it needs you to be logged in on launch, unless missing something....
Will be comparing against ADSR Manager too

Re: How much time you spend behind your computer?
Plugged in when we can, depends on the task or project (if doing RE coding and design, or music production, recording, artwork...) Going through a stack of sample libraries (about 15yrs worth of magazine sample collecting as well as refills and libraries which most would consider as rare, putting th...

Cubase 10 Pro
Just a quick post up regarding Cubase 10 Pro. Wow. Lots of great additions (bezier style automation - finally!), ARA 2 software bridging (yet to try but got some vocal work with Melodyne Essentials to test out). Of course we still make music with Reason first as our 'editor of choice' for compositio...

Re: Who here owns a Recycle?
Probably because it's a slicer and not a time stretcher - harks back to stuff like the E-mu sampler Beat Munger, which is an audio slicer too and strings across the keyboard. Timestretch is an option for audio alone really....

Re: What video software you prefer?
Yeah Resolume works fine with NVIDIA 650Ti at the very least, but better cards would be advised. Haven't tried on laptop yet (got ASUS killer gaming lappy perfect for 3d / audio work)

Re: Almost everything in CV-wise can be done with a LFO + destination
Malstrom can be a little odd beast at times though.... the MOD parts of Malstrom always complete 1 cycle, even if you release during a mid-cycle. Subtractor LFO (even free mode) always syncs to the start of the sequencer - it's not a 100% true free running like a hardware synth you turn on and leave...

Re: Who here owns a Recycle?
Here's the thing. We here also have Recycle and we prefer it as a separate program - why? well it's more about focus on what the task is at hand. We use Recycle to really go in and edit our audio files properly. Reason's built in REX approach is ok, but it's set to 'default' REcycle settings (40% st...

Re: What video software you prefer?
Yes - Resolume is pretty powerful, full on VJ software. Can add effects to multilayered video 'channels'. Made a few nightclub video sequences with it over the years. Make sure you have a good stable system with a decent GFX card and plenty of hard drive space

Re: Almost everything in CV-wise can be done with a LFO + destination
CV is nothing that special tbh... is kind of making automatic automation in a 0-127 ratio. :geek: :ugeek: :geek: Well... once you get out of the box and use CV > Audio (yes it's possible with Thor) and then use audio signals as CV sources for real world devices.... that's where the fun really begin...

Camtasia. Does exactly what it should... although ASIO linking can be a PITA, but doable via Voicemeeter aggregate soundcard panel for Windows
